Brier Johnson: Senior Model Rep 2015.

Brier Johnson... what can I say about this kid? I have known him since he was in elementary school, and basically grown up around him. He's the brother of one of my best friends, and I can't believe he's a senior already! Not only is Brier a pretty cool guy, but he's also my first JSP Model Rep of the year!

London, United Kingdom: 2014.

I had the amazing opportunity to travel abroad with my university.. not only to go out of the country for the first time in my life, but to visit a place I had only ever dreamed of going! 

London has held a special place in my heart from the first moment I cracked open a Harry Potter book in the second grade. My eleventh birthday saw more tears than smiles from me because I didn't receive my Hogwarts letter. Needless to say, when I heard in the fall that a group from my college was going to be traveling there in the summer, I jumped on the chance, and never looked back.

It was one of the hardest things, saving for this trip. I set a goal, decided to put away $75 every week, and I made it! Honestly, I obviously loved the sightseeing and all the amazing things about London, and HELLO, Warner Bros. Studio Tour for Harry Potter, but the most important part of this was that I learned that I can be a responsible adult, I can save my money, and I can do what I set my mind to.

I loved every moment in London. I felt like for once in my life, I actually fit in somewhere without trying, no effort required. I immediately understood the tube (underground), I had no issues getting around, I had no problem understanding accents (haha!) and I was even in love with the weather. 

London has my heart, and I can't wait to be there again.

Garrett + Megan Telfer Wedding Preview.

Garrett and Megan had their wedding two days before I left for London. This couple was a blast to be around on their wedding day, and they put on a great party for all of their guests. Did I mention that everything was beautiful, too? We shot in sun and rain on this day in May, and now they can finally see all of their images! Thank you both for being so patient.

Lexi + Matt: Engagement Session.

Lexi and Matt booked their session totally last minute, and while it was sort of a whirlwind, it was a total blast! We went out and explored the beautiful Kansas countryside and played with so much lovely and whimsical lighting - basically my favorite way to spend an evening.

Heather Portrait Session.

Heather and I met at our college job, and in each other have found someone with very similar personalities and an uncanny likeness in our sense of humor. This lady is so driven and inspiring to me, and it seems like she achieves whatever she sets her mind to. She is completely unafraid to venture outside of the "normal" course for a young lady's life, and I admire her so much for that. 

I asked on my Facebook page if anyone would like to just have a little shoot around on a beautiful day, and Heather was the first person to reply. I had a great time shooting you, dear, and I hope you love your images!

Buck Family Portraits.

This family is one of the funniest I know. 

Just had to throw that out there. The last time I photographed them it was on Kyla and Lynn's wedding day back in October, and I was so excited to get my lens pointed back in their direction on a beautiful spring morning! These four kids have more personality individually than most groups of people I know, and their parents are just as enjoyable to be around. Love you guys, and I hope you love your images!
